The 5x5x5 Professor Cube Solution.
There are 4 steps for the solution of the 5x5x5 Professor Cube:
A. Solving the top layer
B. Orientation of the floor corners.
C. Setting the squares.

To do this we require a key to our diagrams.
Each move in a step will be represented by a diagram of a cube and an arrow. e.g.:

This means the arrows refer to the direction the dark strip should move.
This means move the indicated strip in the direction of the arrow One Click

A. Solving the top layer
Use moves I & II to position the top four corners correctly, as in the final picture.

After completing the top four corners, the two facing corners should be rotated to the correct position to follow solution moves III & IV.

After completing the top four corners and twelve side cubes, the last step is how to orientate the top center cube to solve the top layer as picture below.

B. Orientation of the floor corners:
Firstly fix one corner as solution I (fix left corner) or solution II (fix right corner) then, following Ic or IIc solution to rotate a, b, c, three corners once. (Note: the colors a, b, c, corners are changed during the rotation).

Use the solution I & II to fix the two floor corners. After fixing the two corners, if they are: then use solution III.

(key: means the position and color are correct.

If moves III or IV do not orientate the corners correctly, try and adjust it to positive. Use Solution V, then rotate cube 90° clockwise.

C. Setting the Squares:
You can set the squares as in solution I, II, & III. And the Reverse, you can use the 6 solution in combination. (Note: use a,b and c are the squares swapped by this move).

If one of the layers (layer 2, 3 or 4) is in , you can get back to the original layer by using solution IV.

D. Reverse the central point:
Use solution I, II & III to exchange the colors to reverse the central point. It can be put back to the position of 6 single color layers of a 5x5x5 Professor Cube. (Note: This is the result of exchanging the a, b and c colors) as correct picture.

Now that the Christmas holiday season is on its way and this is the time of the year when many people receive Magic Cubes as gifts, we’re dedicating an article to the online Rubik’s Cube solver which might become handy if you’re stuck solving your twisty puzzle.
The Rubik’s Cube has been around for more than 40 years now and it has become the World’s best selling puzzle toy since its invention with an estimated 400 million sold pieces. This little colored cube changed the World, giving us many confused hours trying to figure out how to unscramble it, but most of us could only fix one side of the six. This is where the average person gets stuck, because when we move forward to solve the next layer we always break the pieces already in place.
There are methods to solve the Rubik’s Cube which divide the puzzle into layers, going from the bottom layer to the top applying algorithms in each step that affect only the remaining cubelets, not breaking the pieces already in place. The most popular Rubik’s Cube solution method solves the cube by starting with the white cross, then solving the white corners, middle layer edges, yellow cross on top, yellow edges, positioning the last layer corners and finally orienting the yellow corners. To learn to solve the puzzle by ourselves we have to memorize the algorithms for each case. For the beginner’s method we would have to learn approximately eight series of rotations but if we want to become “speedcubers”, the advanced Friedrich (CFOP) method requires much more memorization and practice.
